STEFAN WESOŁOWSKI
The Gdansk-based composer and violinist, a graduate of France's Académie Musicale de Villecroze, associated with British publisher Mute Song (Nick Cave, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ben Frost, Max Richter and many others), American publisher Important Records and French Ici D'ailleurs. He is the author of three well-received solo albums, one of which is the album “Rite of the End,” which brought the composer a nomination for the “Polityka” Passport. The artist is a co-founder of the duo Nanook of the North, and writes music for films (“Listen to me Marlon,” directed by Stevan Riley, nominated for BAFTA awards, and “Love Express. The Disappearance of Walerian Borowczyk,” directed by Kuba Mikurda.
